Partnership & Sponsorship Policy

Partnership & Sponsorship Policy

Effective Date: 4th June 2025

This policy outlines the principles, criteria, and processes governing partnerships and sponsorships at Bodice Charity Foundation. It ensures that all collaborative relationships align with our mission, values, and ethical standards.

1. Purpose

The purpose of this policy is to:

  • Promote transparent and mutually beneficial relationships with partners and sponsors.

  • Safeguard the Foundation’s integrity, independence, and reputation.

  • Define roles, expectations, and boundaries for collaborative engagements.

2. Definitions

  • Partner: An individual, organization, business, or institution that collaborates with the Foundation to co-deliver programs, initiatives, or advocacy.

  • Sponsor: An entity that provides financial or material support in exchange for recognition, brand alignment, or involvement in Foundation events or campaigns.

3. Guiding Principles

All partnerships and sponsorships must:

  • Align with the mission, vision, and values of Bodice Charity Foundation.

  • Respect the dignity and rights of our beneficiaries.

  • Maintain the Foundation’s independence and avoid any conflict of interest.

  • Be transparent, ethical, and driven by social impact, not just publicity.

4. Eligibility Criteria

We welcome partnerships and sponsorships from:

  • Corporations, SMEs, nonprofits, government bodies, and individuals who support our causes.

  • Entities with a proven track record of ethical behavior, social responsibility, and non-discrimination.

  • Organizations not engaged in industries or practices that contradict our values (e.g., weapons, tobacco, child labor, exploitation, etc.).

5. Types of Support Accepted

We may accept:

  • Financial contributions: One-time or recurring donations, grants, sponsorships for events or projects.

  • In-kind contributions: Goods, services, equipment, or volunteer support.

  • Collaborative initiatives: Co-branded campaigns, educational drives, or joint community programs.

6. Recognition of Sponsors & Partners

We will recognize sponsors and partners through:

  • Mentions on our website, newsletters, and social media (with consent).

  • Logos on event materials, banners, or designated campaign pages (if applicable).

  • Certificates of partnership, appreciation letters, and reports on impact.

Note: Recognition will always be proportionate to the support and will never compromise the Foundation’s independence or neutrality.

7. Due Diligence & Approval Process

  • All potential sponsors and partners will undergo a basic vetting process to assess values alignment, reputation, and social impact.

  • High-value or long-term partnerships must be approved by the Foundation’s board or executive leadership.

  • Written agreements (MOUs, contracts, or sponsorship agreements) will clearly define roles, responsibilities, deliverables, and exit clauses.

8. Monitoring & Evaluation

  • All partnerships and sponsorships will be reviewed regularly to assess impact, relevance, and adherence to agreed terms.

  • Feedback mechanisms will be in place to ensure transparency and accountability on both sides.

9. Termination of Relationship

Bodice Charity Foundation reserves the right to terminate a partnership or sponsorship if:

  • The sponsor or partner acts in a way that compromises our mission or reputation.

  • There is evidence of unethical practices or non-compliance with agreed terms.

  • The collaboration is no longer in the best interest of the Foundation or its beneficiaries.
